Married To Giants: Agency Work
Married To Giants Editing is a premier commercial and creative editing agency based in Downtown Toronto. Responsible for Cannes Lion winning adverts to music videos for everyone from Drake to Rosalía, Married To Giants is a respected agency internationally. For a summer, I worked as an Assistant Editor Intern at the agency, assisting on some viral and recognizable spots.
Married To Giants and its finishing company, Wingman, are award winning agencies, developing some of the most iconic commercial and video content not just in Canada, but internationally. My role encompassed working in both the client services division and with the editors themselves. Here, I shadowed and learned from the company’s producers and aided with commercial projects that later became some of the biggest advertising campaigns of the year. The roster of projects I worked on included those for Toronto Maple Leafs, Spinmaster, RBC, Molson Canadian, and Tourism Niagara Falls. After gaining the favour of the VFX team, I was given the opportunity to work on projects for Sylvania and Zayn Malik’s first foray into a solo career. I actively sought to make connections with the producers as well, eventually being taken under the wing of one of the producers who allowed me to shadow her and understand the production workflow from bidding to post, how to manage creatives, budgeting, and taking part in client pitch meetings.

Molson Canadian, “Welcome Party.” Sourced and prepared media. Worked on the selection of clips for color grading at Alter Ego.
